With Gen Z browsing and shopping via social media, simplicity of sales channel came to the fore in 2024: 42% of consumers stated they made purchases via livestreaming because product or service features were easier to understand through this channel. Omnichannel fulfilment plays an important role, including hassle-free services such as delivery and click-and-collect services - both of which are expected to record double-digit sales growth globally from 2024 to 2026.

We saw this in the Rocky Horror Show launches of Koi Footwear and Oddballs, both used their formidable social media presence to promote their forthcoming release, such that the ‘drop’ was met with a frenzied ‘must have’ approach to shopping that meant limited edition releases quickly justified the investment in product and stock.

A carefully released exclusive drop targeting both the the loyal following of Rocky Horror Show fans  and the loyal fans of a fashion brand is clearly the perfect execution for Rocky Horror. Don’t Dream it, Be it.
